From model-based engineering to testing

The presentation focuses on the practical experience in a research project for green aviation on methods and tools using the model-based approach from requirements to verification/validation and test interface. It shows the complexity handled and the lessons learned to manage the content visually in teams until the emulation at the test bench. Using the executable specification, all the requirements and allocated parameters were traded and optimized until the test bench came to life. The trades cover cost, weight, performance and other parameters within one single model to show feasibility and optimize the sub-system within the aircraft system using multidisciplinary interfaces.
