Berner & Mattner joins Assystem Group

Better positioning for strong growth in embedded systems

In the past four years Berner & Mattner has achieved an average growth of 25 % per year, thus establishing itself as a highly qualified niche player in the fields of automotive, transportation and automation. In order to push further strategic objectives such as growth - particularly in the field of embedded systems - and internationalization, we have decided to strike a new path with a strong, internationally operating partner.

With effect from February 4, 2011, 100 % of the shares of Berner & Mattner Systemtechnik have been acquired by Assystem Deutschland Holding GmbH - a large and very successful European engineering service provider based in Paris. We take this step with the utmost continuity, but also with significant dynamic. Hence we remain an independent limited liability corporation (GmbH) under the name of Berner & Mattner and with the management in its previous form. At the same time we make use of both the numerous synergies arising and the international network. Moreover, we extend our service portfolio and our international activities in collaboration with Assystem.

We look forward to thus becoming an even more powerful partner for our customers with an innovative service portfolio and a strong recourse.
