Milestones

Model-based development
1991: Berner & Mattner creates the basis for model-based methods in the fields of specification, integration and test. The consequent use of model-based methods reduces both development times and cost while at the same time maintaing a high quality and increasing the complexity of electronic systems.

Continuous solutions portfolio
2004: We focus on the development of our own products to describe the complete process from specification to HiL testing. Through the interaction of these solutions and its long-standing know-how Berner & Mattner provides OEMs and Tier1s with a lifecycle management for ECU software.

Customer proximity for consultancy and development: Today, Berner & Matter has 248 employees at the head office in Munich and the sites in Berlin, Hamburg, Ingolstadt, Cologne, Stuttgart and Wolfsburg. The foundation of its subsidiary in Vienna at the beginning of 2009 launches the internationalization of Berner & Mattner.
