Partnership in the field of software development for safety-critical systems
Berner & Mattner uses Esterel Technologies' SCADE Suite and SCADE Display for developing software for safety-critical systems. The company provides expertise in applying model-based development methods using qualifiable code generators for RTCA DO178b and certified code generators for IEC61508, CENELEC EN50128 and EN60880. The use of SCADE allows for most efficient project implementation in safety-critical fields, avoiding unnecessary risks.
Partnership in the field of systematic test development
Since April 2010 Berner & Mattner has participated in the HP EMAP (Enterprise Management Alliances Program), Silver Level. This helps Berner & Mattner to achieve its objective to connect its product CTE XL Professional, a tool for systematic test development, with industrial standards. This facilitates the integration into existing tool environments and makes test processes more efficient. By connecting CTE XL Professional with Quality Center, test plans generated in Quality Center can be transmitted to CTE XL Professional. By means of CTE XL Professional test cases can be systematically specified and generated automatically. After the generation the data is being retransmitted to the Quality Center, serving as basis for further (test-)activities. Any changes are automatically being represented in the connected data, thus further facilitating test management.
Technology Partnership with the Systems & Software Modeling Business Unit (Statemate, Rhapsody)
"Telelogic Certified Professionals" of Berner & Mattner implement and support the products Statemate, Rhapsody, DOORS as well as Synergie and System Architect by IBM during operation. Berner & Mattner, frequent user of Rhapsody und DOORS itself, possesses comprehensive knowledge in the model-based development with MATLAB/Simulink, ASCET and UML. Numerous projects incl. target code generation and various requirements and test management solutions have already been implemented based on this.
Partnership in the field of consistent automated development test tools
iSYSTEM and Berner & Mattner leverage their synergies and provide solutions especially for the needs of the automotive industry. In the development of “embedded systems” companies have only “line-up of tools” in the various development stages available. With the integration of CTE XL Professional into testIDEA now exists a simple test execution of identified test cases. Moreover, white box and black box tests are now combined in a perfect way. Both companies will continue their cooperation and further extend the integration of their tools over the next months.

Based on our products MESSINA and modularHiL and The MathWorks' products we develop turnkey SiL/HiL solutions for infotainment, body/convenience electronics, powertrain and optical as well as radar-based driver assistance systems. Our cooperation results in a very convenient seamless drag&drop integration of Simulink models into the MESSINA-SiL/HiL test automation.

MESSINA offers a very convenient possibility for the drag&drop integration of TESIS DYNAware models. By means of the real-time platform MESSINA and modularHiL these vehicle dynamics and engine models by TESIS can be calculated very quickly and executed in real-time. This enables very precise and realistic simulations both in SiL and in HiL application scenarios.
