3rd Newsletter 'Insight Automotive' - November 2010

Our subsidiary in Ingolstadt celebrates its 5th anniversary! On this special occasion, I would like to present our subsidiary and its activities.

Main objectives for establishing this site were customer proximity and business expansion with AUDI and local suppliers. In retrospect, we have achieved our goals. Sales and headcount have more than tripled since then.

Our motto is “model-based from specification to HiL-testing”. We vigorously follow this motto in our customer projects – with great success. The recipe for this success is our long-term experience in model-based development and the continuous introduction of innovative ideas and concepts, e. g. for MODENA. The specification and test system for infotainment and body has conquered the VW group and its suppliers and is more and more deployed successfully.

We contribute to the extension of an efficient function validation tool chain with the development of standard libraries for the test automation tool EXAM at VW. This tool chain is also used in our solutions like the MESSINA- HiL test system for electromechanical steering. In projects for complete vehicle testing we demonstrate our experience in structured testing and optimization of processes.

Diagnostics solutions, however, are the most important share of our portfolio. I would like to show you some project examples of this specific area. They demonstrate how we successfully achieve customer objectives by assuming responsibility. We also increasingly master current challenges of electronics development like advanced driver assistance and electromobility.

My special thanks goes to our professionals working at the subsidiary in Ingolstadt, whose know-how and commitment make the success of our projects possible.
