3rd Newsletter 'Insight Industry' - May 2011

Dear Reader,

The current newsletter "Insight" is all about the new membership of Berner & Mattner in the international Assystem Group. "Let´s break new grounds" was Hans Berner‘s motto in late January when he announced the acquisition of our company by a French engineering service provider. After the first 100 days of new leadership, it is good practice to look back and see where the new paths are leading us to.

First cooperations with German and French colleagues show that the direction we have been following successfully for years is accepted as the new way to go. Software and system development for ECUs in different industries based on development partnerships will be our recipe for success in the future. Innovative methods related to the software development process are therefore highlighted in several articles of this newsletter. We will also have a close look at how a well-functioning customer/supplier partnership results in clear benefits for the cooperation‘s efficiency.

Since subcontracted labor and offshoring offer only little potential for optimization, the recovered industry market requires completely new approaches for cost optimization of projects. Our solution approach includes modular and distributed tasks to have the most appropriate employees provide the best overall solution in their familiar environment. A practical field report shows the successful implementation of this method.

In this newsletter, you will notice that new paths do not necessarily have to lead in completely new directions. In fact, there is the possibility to achieve your goal with a new level of quality. Enjoy your journey of exploration.
