Munich, June 29, 2010 – Berner & Mattner Systemtechnik GmbH has been awarded the ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certificate by DQS (Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Zertifizierung von Managementsystemen). The certificate documents an independent audit of management processes performed by this external body of accredited assessors and demonstrates customers that information security and seamless business continuity are of particular importance to Berner & Mattner. In particular ensures the ISO 27001 certificate the protection of the customers’ intellectual property throughout all company levels.
As a result of an independent audit Berner & Mattner Systemtechnik GmbH obtained the ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certification from DQS on June 24, 2010 – in addition to the ISO 9001 certification, which the company has already held since 1996.
The certification, awarded by external accredited assessors, guarantees that Berner & Mattner applies mature and legally compliant management processes as well as control mechanisms to meet its customers’ requirements in terms of protecting intellectual property and business continuity. Future re-audits by independent auditors shall renew this guarantee.
