April 23, 2013 Berner & Mattner teams up with Assystem to establish a dedicated Automotive Competence Center for Stress Engineering & Simulation in Munich. In this Center, the engineers are mainly focusing on the calculation of mechanical aspects. March 20, 2013 Berner & Mattner has been awarded a contract from the European Space Agency (ESA) to perform the feasibility study "SafeRail - Improving Safety at Railway Level Crossings". The study, which is carried out within ESA’s Integrated Applications Promotion
Program, is looking for ways to improve the safety at Railway Level Crossings by a viable and sustainable integrated solution and associated services using different types of space assets such as Telecommunications, Earth Observation and Navigation, with existing terrestrial assets.
February 26, 2013 Berner & Mattner has developed a new kind
of operating solution for OMICRON’s CMC testing equipment in just three
months. It is unique because this newly developed Android app
transforms any Android tablet into a touchscreen control panel for testing
equipment. This is the first hardware-independent operating solution
(‘bring your own device,’ or BYOD) for OMICRON’s secondary technology
