MESSINA

Test platform for model-based ECU function development

MESSINA is the software platform for model-based ECU testing from specification to HiL-testing. Hardware independent test sequences can be used seamlessly in the model test (MiL), software test (SiL) and hardware test (HiL). Therefore, the test strategy can be extended across processes between OEM and supplier.

Top features of MESSINA:

  • Systematic test case specification with CTE XL
  • Test cases that are parametrable either graphically with TPT statecharts or sequentially with JAVA
  • Flexible import of modular environment models
  • Precision through automated tests in real-time with SiL-HiL consistency
  • Easy graphical and programmable test evaluation with TPT

Benefits of MESSINA

  • Cost reduction through error detection early in the process
  • Obvious reduction of test tool by using MESSINA for all kinds of function models in the ECU development process
  • Increased quality through a safe migration of C-Code to AUTOSAR
  • Standard test method for MATLAB, ASCET, AUTOSAR, ...
  • Time saving by reuse of test sequences and reduced task forces near SOP
  • Secure for the future through the support of industry standards like AUTOSAR, ASAM, EXAM, …

Latest release: MESSINA V 3.1

The new version offers new features like:

  • AUTOSAR test RTE based on ARTOP
  • Windows target
