The specification and test tool for infotainment components
MODENA is the model-based specification and test system for infotainmen ECUs. It addresses the requirements of a consistent infotainment development process from specification to functions to integration tests of the ECU.
With MODENA many infotainment functions have already been developed. AUX-IN, NetworkMaster/Slave, AudioMaster, mobile and SAT radio are only a few functions that we have formally specified together with our customers and verified in the early development process. MODENA is being employed at OEMS and TIER1s and also intensively at the OEM-TIER1 interface. The TIER1 uses specified functions of the OEM for example for its remaining bus simulation.

Berner & Mattner Presents MODENA Version 5.1.0: Easier specification and testing of infotainment ECUs
July 14, 2011 - Berner & Mattner presents MODENA 5.1.0 as an extended version of its proven specification and test software for model-based development in the area of automotive infotainment, thus increasing the application range for users. In the MOST area, the new version of MODENA supports selected stress features and the MOST High Protocol in accordance with the MOST High Protocol specification 2.3. In addition, MODENA now includes a separate event for processing CAN error frames.
