Change management of
IBM Rational Statemate models

PowerDiff is the only graphical tool comparing different versions of IBM Rational Statemate charts. PowerDiff ensures consistency as well as the traceability of changes during the complete life cycle of models. It detects new, deleted and changed elements based on a logical analysis of IBM Rational Statemate models. This enables effective change management supporting the IBM Rational Statemate user to develop complex systems.

Besides an interactive investigation of model changes, the user generates clearly structured change reports even for complex changes of many models. All model components are graphically illustrated in the IBM Rational Statemate design. A detailed structure view of the models offers a quick access to individual model components. The pdf reports are linked. By clicking on a changed model component, the user is guided directly to the detailed description of the change. PowerDiff generates reports quickly even for more complex models with thousands of pages. The possibility to create fully automated change reports allows for a seamless integration of PowerDiff into the review and release process of complex projects.
