Foundation Level Training

Description:
The ISTQB Certified Tester program is recognized worldwide as a standard qualification scheme for software testing and applied in more than 40 countries. The syllabus contents are provided by the ISTQB. The Certified Tester program consists of several levels. The 'Foundation Level' qualification - the initial level - covers the basics of software testing.

Target Groups:
The Foundation Level training is aimed at anyone involved in software testing, such as testers, test analysts, test engineers, test consultants, test managers, user acceptance testers and software developers. This Foundation Level qualification is also appropriate for anyone who wants to obtain basic understanding of software testing, such as project managers, quality managers, software development managers, system analysts, IT directors and management consultants from all sectors (automotive industry, financial services, medical technology, telecommunications and public services, amongst others).

Prerequisites:
Interest in software testing.

Benefits:
Upon completion of the Foundation Level training, you will have solid understanding of software testing and be an internationally accredited software tester. You will be able to identify testing topics. You will know and understand the different methods and techniques for efficient testing and the test process as such.

Certification /exam procedure:
Subsequent to the training, you can take the exam to become a ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level. Only holders of the Foundation Level Certificate will be able to go on to a higher level software testing qualification, the Certified Tester Advanced Level. The exam is offered and carried out by the following neutral certification centers (examination centers) that have been authorized and approved by the GTB (German Testing Board):

iSQI situated in Erlangen www.isqi.org

Our trainers:
Our trainers have long-standing hands-on and research experience. They are experts in developing test systems, executing and implementing test cases (including testing) as well as specifying test cases.

Duration of the training:
The training is usually carried out on 3 subsequent days.

Number of participants:
4 to 9 participants

Venue, in-house training:
The trainings are carried out on the defined dates and at the mentioned location.
On request, we are happy to provide in-house training.

Individual trainings:
We would be pleased to provide trainings according to your individual needs, such as carrying out the training on 6 half-days or on individual days with time intervals.
